About Sarah
Sarah Boses is a dedicated public servant, healthcare professional, and mother of four who was born and raised in Santa Fe. A proud graduate of Santa Fe High and New Mexico State University, she has been a nurse for over two decades. She spent fourteen years of those years as an oncology nurse advocating for patients and navigating complex healthcare systems.
Since 2020, Sarah has served on the Santa Fe Public Schools Board of Education, where she focuses on student and staff health and wellness initiatives, supporting the creation of relevant and engaging educational environments and addressing the root causes of the challenges in schools today.
Her deep roots in the community, her children, and her frontline experience in nursing and education drive her commitment to fighting for New Mexico families.
She is now running for State House District 50 to bring a practical, people-focused perspective to the state legislature.
Sarah lives in Galisteo with her husband, children, dogs, and chickens.

Advocacy is one of my favorite activities.
Nurses spend a lot of time being the voice for the people they care for. Sometimes that means communicating with the care team or navigating a complex system and sometimes it means fighting with insurance companies. I learned how to be persistent and to do what was right for my patients. Then I learned how to advocate in Washington DC to try to change the parts of our medical system that don't work for patients or providers.
That work continues and I'm ready for it!
